...~RULES AND REGULATIONS~General
Please try to show all other players, and the hosts respect. No one wants a game ruined due to drama, and all situations can be solved by talking them out. If you cannot show others respect you will be immediately expelled from the Island. If you find the need to use foul commentary or disrespect for the hosts, you will receive a warning then three strikes.
If there is a conflict or issue between players, or in a challenge, please contact the host as soon as possible. If the conflict cannot be resolved all parties will be warned, and upon another infraction removed from the game.
Every host understands that life outside this game takes precedence to challenges, but please try to be as active as possible. The rough outline of the game schedule will be posted in this general board as well, and you will be better equipped to find if you will have the time to invest or not. Please be active. Nothing ruins a game more than inactive players.
Challenge Times, Game Updates, Communication
There will be ample time allotted in advance announcing challenge times and event times. All non live challenges will be given 24 hours to be completed or if otherwise stated. Live challenges will be completed in a game chat that is easily accessed and does not require sign ups on the internet. The link will be posted when the game begins. It is encouraged that all players use this tool to contact each other and the host. Also available is using AIM. During check-ins Aim is recommended for communication. Some challenges will be combined live/24 hour challenges, if anything is to be done on the boards the 24 hour challenge rule will apply unless stated otherwise. If you cannot attend a challenge, and are otherwise occupied please shoot me a quick confessional and no strikes will be added for your absence.
Most live challenges will not occur until a certain number of students remain. This does not discount they could happen anytime, just the first portion of the game will be mainly board based.
Tribal Council
Tribal Council will also fall under the 24 hour period to be completed. Questions at Tribal Council must be answered and are required in that time frame as well as voting in your confessional. If you do not answer questions or attempt to give some effort, your vote will not count. If you know you will not be able to vote in this time period or do not know if you will be attending Tribal Council we ask that you notify the host and vote early in your confessional. It is also suggested you keep a boot list in your confessional to allow for situations where you may not be available.
In the event of a tie during Tribal Council, the player with the highest amount of past votes will be expelled from the game. In the event that neither player involved in the tie have acquired past votes there will be a re-vote. If this re-vote heeds the same results ending in a tie we will move on to drawing rocks. If this situation comes to light, not only will the tied players be at risk, but all those attending Tribal Council.
Confessionals
We ask that at the end of each challenge/Tribal Council session week that each player post in their confessional and update the hosts on what is going on in the game, and thoughts at what is to come. We are asking for even just a sentence or two, this will keep the game more interesting and upbeat.
A Few Last General Rules
The entire game has been roughly mapped out before the beginning of this game begins. Accusations of cheating, favoritism, or foul play on a hosts, or players part must immediately come to the hosts themselves to be solved without dramatic effect. The host has the FINAL SAY in all matters and this is not to be questioned. We are pretty open minded hosts and will always take suggestions and listen to your questions and comments before making a final decision.
If there are any questions regarding rules or how the game will be played out, please contact us. I will return answers as soon as possible.
Not following the rules or instructions does have consequences. First a player will be warned. (These rules apply to in-activeness, not voting, not doing tasks required, and being rude, ignorant, or foul towards the hosts.). Once a warning is given, then you will have 3 strikes available to you. On the third strike, you will be removed from the game and flown to the perjury house. No one expelled will be given a chance at the final vote.
