It's like I'm at my home away from my home away from home and I decided to send Natalie to Exile with me since well, she sent me before. This marks my third time on Exile Island now and as a result my third round away from my tribe. I didn't get much time to really talk to them, but from what I gathered Sugar went since she wasn't around to turn the vote against Candice and that Russell wound up voting for Candice too. That says to me that he might be a more standup and intelligent guy than I gave him credit for. With that being said, we lost AGAIN and I'm at the point where I'm pretty much pleading for a swap or SOMETHING to happen so that I still have a tribe to come back to when I return from Exile Island. Oh, and also Coach got removed from the game for some complicated situation I'm not REALLY going to get into. Yeah, it sucks on a personal level, but on a game level I'd be lying if I said it was bad news.
With this being my third time on Exile and with there being two clues to the second board here, I want to get in, find the idol, and then never come back here again. If I come back here another time, then it's going to be pretty hard to convince people that I never got anything and that I'm empty handed. Granted, Jerri saying on the board that she has a "Fun Idol" in case she's in trouble helps me cover things up for the board 1 Idol that I got since if Janu was telling the truth about finding an Idol on the first board then I can simply say Jerri has one and Janu got to the second one first. I mean, it'll add up pretty well and people aren't exactly going to accuse me of finding an idol with the first set of clues. Plus, with Jerri/Ken fighting with Joel/Candice, it kind of gets the target off of me a little bit. Oh, and Candice was yelling at Parvati too, so I may be able to slide right on by easier than I thought.
Then there's the issue of Greg. The thing about Greg is he really wants to crack the password so we can get the two chests in the second board before the other tribe does. That's a great strategy since it'd involve me getting a second idol, but I don't want anybody to know I have one idol, let alone two. Not to mention that I'm concerned if both things are found, then the host will let it be known that there's nothing on the island (real Survivor keeps the clues going anyway, of course, haha) and then it's pretty likely people would point to Greg and especially myself with it. If that happens then well, I kinda can't go on about being empty handed and would just wind up having to waste that Idol for people to stop worrying about it. So, because of that I'm tempted to NOT tell Greg if I find the Idol. Not because I don't trust him, but because I want to make sure I know who has as many of the idols as possible and that I can control when and if they're used. What better way to do that than to be in possession of half of them?
Besides, it doesn't have to affect my alliance with Greg, or the situations I have going on with Joel, Janu, Candice, or Sandra either. Of course, I expect them to probably send like Candice and Sandra or Sandra and Janu or something to that effect home simple because of the pattern the tribe's been going. It's hard to really get a good vibe from a 5 minute pre-exiled conversation, and when you've been away from things so much, anyway.
