It seems the only option for Shane and myself is to force a tie between us and them (Steph + Natalie).
If we were only voting off one person, Shane and I could be devious and say to one girl, "Look, you can help us vote off your partner, and join Midori's group to make 6.... your odds are better than sticking with Sinregla's remaining NINE!"
But no. Thanks to the travesty of having to vote off two people EVERY TIME, we are forced to rely on chance. Each voter in this foursome knows that if his/her partner is lost, then he/she will immediately be the target for the second vote.
Our best chance, we believe, is to vote for Steph. She was sent to exile after the "basket draw" challenge and we think she's less likely to have an idol up her sleeve. Best case scenario: one of the girls is eliminated in the tiebreaker draw, and Shane/I go one to vote out the other. Worst case scenario is that my idol is used up to save me in the tiebreaker draw, Shane gets purple-rocked, and then the girls vote me out. Most of the other possible outcomes involve the idol saving me in the vote in order to eliminate one girl.
Here's a riddle for you: What does it say about a game and its rules, when the strategic player's best strategy is to depend on pure luck to get ahead? What does it say when the rules are essentially set up so that inactive players are spared and active players (who CARE about the game) must be eliminated?

Just to show that I'm actually trying to use my head rather than just complain about the rules, I tried a bit of a last-ditch attempt to save myself, assuming Natalie has an idol.
I sent her a PM saying that I promise to cast my jury vote for her if she and I survive this Tribal Council together, and if I'm on the jury and she's a finalist. Shane and I would vote for Nat, and if she has an idol, the hope would obviously be that she'd change her vote to Shane.
I would have every intent in the world of keeping my promise to Natalie. BUT, I would wait for an opportune time, then ANNOUNCE to the other players that I made a pledge to vote for her. Suddenly, Nat would (I hope) become a threat to win in front of the jury, (hopefully) helping take attention away from me.
