So this round was pretty redeeming as compared to last round. It started off with coming into the merge and being surrounded by a good amount of people that I just did not like. I knew that I’d want to win immunity now that I didn’t have my fire idol and that there were in fact other idols aside from the elemental idols. Not much really happened and everyone really just settled in and sooner rather than later our first immunity challenge was posted, and low and behold, it was endurance.
I wasn’t too upset about it, I mean I can rock endurance if I choose to, but I’ve found as more and more ORGs progress that I really don’t feel like rocking them anymore. However, given the circumstances and level of competitors that I was up against there was no way I was going to let myself lose to the likes of Rupert, or Candice, or Joel, so I just sucked it up and lasted for more than five hours in the competition, granted my official time was less since I missed a post. The missed post didn’t matter though as I came away with the win and got to “exile” Parvati, sparing her from the vote.
Even though I knew Parvati was and still is the sole person I can trust in this game, I couldn’t risk her reputation coming back and biting her in the first merge vote and seeing as she is the only person here that I’ve trusted 100% this entire time, there was no way I was leaving her to be eaten up by the savage wolves that we’re playing against.
With Parvati safe I wanted to set my sights on Joel, but a lot of drama was going around and Greg wanted to do what I originally wanted to do, which was target Jerri and have her use her Earth Idol to drag Candice out with her, killing two birds with one stone. Now, those two girls absolutely loathe each other, but separately they each love me and are loyal to me, and with as many wildcards as there is I wasn’t about to toss those two out when I need them to get further.
I spun some lies to both girls about regards to where I stood on each other and got them both to vote Greg, who in my eyes, would one, never have worked with me, and two, was just a massive question mark on the game and therefore could never be a solid ally in my eyes.
Now that Greg is gone the Top 9 is upon me and with Parvati still at my side I think that the two of us can slip deeper into the game. There’s still massive personalities butting heads and given the level of distraction and drive that others exemplify I think or at least hope that Parv and I can go on some immunity run and just inch further and further towards the finals.
